Camp blog reflection

CAMP BLOG REFLECTION

I really enjoyed abseiling because I really enjoyed going down the waterfall. I was really
nervous when I was about to go down the waterfall but everyone was encouraging me so I went
down and I went down really fast. What I also enjoyed about this was walking through the
stream and rocks. I would mostly fall down but I would get back up again.

I also enjoyed kayaking because all the different kind of rocks and reefs we got to see.

From this I learnt that if you try something you never know if it will be fun or not.

I enjoyed lots of activities but i'm going to write about the one I enjoyed most. I enjoyed kayaking the most because I enjoyed learning the different ways of how to steer and all the other different assets about kayaking. I really enjoyed listening to Mary Jane say left and right. What I really enjoyed about this was paddling back to the line of people while we were both drifting away. What didn't enjoy about this was getting stuck in the rocks all the time (which was FRUSTRATING!).

WRITING TEST 

Hello everyone yesterday I had a writing test and I we had to write about a special/memorable moment that we had with my friends. I wrote about kayaking with my friend Mary Jane. I wrote about this because I had lots of fun with her. I had lots of fun with her because I enjoyed making mistakes and fixing them. I had a really growth mindset and I had a really fun time, and when I fell I got back up and tried again.

Reading test

Yesterday after technology I did a reading test.

In this reading test we had read an article and answer some questions. My articles name was called diamonds. I enjoyed reading this article because it showed me how important diamonds are

I think my next step in this is making sure that when I am reading this article I could look at clues or words before or after the question that is being asked. I learnt that diamonds are the most hardest natural metal on earth. But my question that I am asking is that is diamond a metal. I had done some research about and here's what I had

Diamond is not a metal in anyway its just an allotrope of carbon. It does not show any physical properties or chemical properties of metals like electrical conductivity, malleability, ductility,reaction with acids or salts etc. ... Diamond is a non-metal

I actually now know that diamonds are not the hardest substance on Earth but they are the hardest natural substance on Earth. The hardest substance is actually wurtzite boron nitride.

Explanation writing

Hello everyone I have been studying and writing about how night and day works. and I was writing it in paragraphs. I had some help because I had an explanation craft to write my paragraphs about different subjects.

and I also used something called the s.e.e structure.

The See structure helped us write our explanation text and helped put all the ideas in sequence and order.

I found writing the paragraphs really challenging and having 3 different ideas relating to night and day.
